LinSec ADs are described in terms of directories and files that are referred to as AD Elements. Each AD Element consists of description of the directory or file it represents and a flag. The flag denotes whether an AD Element can be inherited (Subsection 4.3.8) and whether it represents exclusion from AD (the example, Subsection 4.3.1).
